Technology

It seems that everyone is involved in technology. And technology can be a great thing in life. Such as computers, smart phones, etc... down to very first thing cavemen had invented. And what can we do with these miracle machines? Possibly anything we want. Yep, technology has changed everything we do daily. So let's continue to think BIG and move on, and see what we can accomplish in the next generation!

Water...Fact Friday

Water is everywhere. And a way to quench your thirst is drinking water. But it's really fascinating when you get to learn more about water. A lot of you know this but water's formula is H2O. Two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom make water. But it's so funny looking how a water molecule is shown. The hydrogen atoms are on top of the oxygen atom. I guess that's how a water molecule looks.

So you can say that you're drinking mouse ears! But not literally.

Learning a new word

To me, learning a new word means that I have extended my massive storage of vocabulary, just a little. And then all of the sudden, I hear it all the time. Scratch that, I hear it everywhere. But learning a new word can really put your mind deeper into what it means. I'm talking about those big words like "googleplex" or "kugelblitz" and this one- "zenzizenzizenzic." Yes "zenzizenzizenzic" is a word. It has something to do about math and exponents and I just learned it today. So words that you already know what it means, if you say it many times, you may even question its exsistance as a word! The same goes for funny looking words like "Tungsten" element number 74 in the periodic table. So have fun learning any words that come to thinking, because they might be useful...eventually!

As always, feel free to comment :)

Little Things

It's been a while since I've done a music post so...here's another one: One Direction released their new song. The song "Little Things" has a calm and gentle tune. The lyrics tell a story of true kindness no matter what. So go listen for yourself, music is the sound of life anyway!

The Scary Stuff

Every year people get scared the most on Halloween (so does me) and I don't know about you, but being scared is a whole new kind of fun. You never know what is going to happen next. Something about being creeped out of your mind, can really put us in mixed emotions afterwards. In Halloween, you get to dress up in awesome (maybe weird) costumes and go trick-or-treating! Maybe not that scary enough, but how about trick-or-treating in a perfectly decorated house, something that screams Halloween. That sure is going to be something fun! Speaking of perfectly decorated houses, something makes me very curious about haunted houses and paranormal activity. Houses that are abandon in sometime, sure creep me out, even if that involves ghosts.

Scary figures such as people standing at a good distance away from you, can really make you feel uncomfortable. The game of Slender is really creepy. Though I never interacted with this game before, I sure have saw people being scared out of it when playing. Slender man which is displayed on the picture, has literally no face! It stands very tall and thin. Now this can make your hairs stand straight up when you play the game.
So you can say that being scared can be fun, once you know what is scaring you. And in the end, it may not be that scary anymore. If you are going out trick-or-treating on Halloween, make sure you be very "observant."

Origami Pikachu

I really don't know how to make paper into certain pieces of art. All i know is how to make paper planes. But I know that lots of people have. Origami looks very complex to make, but it's really awesome-looking in the end. Take a look at this Pikachu made from origami does it look too hard to make?

3 Things about Deja Vu...Fact Friday!

Has anybody got that feeling were you saw something before, but you can't recall the last time you saw it? That is a common symptom that you've experience deja vu. In French, deja vu translates "already seen." So if we already seen what we saw before, how come we can't recall it? Here are three things you want to know about deja vu:

  1. You experience deja vu often between the ages of 8 and 26. As time passes, you experience deja vu quite less.
  2. Deja vu mostly happens when you dream. Your brain does a lot of stuff when it goes to sleep like dreaming. When you wake up however, its a different story. Suppose let's say, you dreamt of Event 1, Event 2, and Event 3. When you wake up (conscious) your brain is now experiencing Event 1, Event 2, and......wait a minute. Did we just saw this before? That's how deja vu works. Your brain thinks that you recall this before somewhere, but it doesn't remember where. Weird isn't it?
  3. Most deja vu experiences happen during dreams. Perhaps that we often recall moments in dreams...Maybe our brains are trying to tell us something that might happen in the near future?
So next time you see something before but you don't know where you saw it before, that's deja vu you're experiencing.

Oh by the way, I want you to also visit my friend's blog, he talks about new technology, video games, and more. Click the link to go on his blog, it's really quite interesting: http://stormjedi.blogspot.ca/

Extreme Skydiving

On this day, skydiver Felix Baumgartner has jumped out of a helium-filled balloon skydiving back to Earth. I think it's really amazing of what he accomplished. Even skydiving once in a lifetime is a memory to bring back excitement. And to think he made history this day is pretty awesome. Click the link to go on his blog: http://felix-baumgartner.blogspot.ca/ . Here's a connection question; Have you ever done something that makes you feel excited? Please feel free to comment :)

The Smell of Cookies!

Don't you love that bakery smell? It's that good aroma of sweet, delicious delight. People of course have a craving for cookies like me. A round bundle of joy just waiting for us to eat them. When you're baking them however, their smell is wonderful! Oatmeal, chocolate chip, granola, anything you can imagine in a cookie, is just baking in the oven. Then ready to eat! So be wise, and savor that cookie flavour, because once there gone, there gone! That's how the cookie crumbles, so munch along and munch proud! By the way, what is your favourite cookie? Feel free to comment!

Riding a roller coaster...in fall.

So you probably went on a roller coaster thousands of times in the summer. But how about riding it in fall? As that last scream and shout on a roller coaster represented that last spark in summer, its time you think. Would you really ride a roller coaster in the cool breeze? Maybe, considering few people would go. But maybe you should give it a try, if that ride is open. Riding on a roller coaster sure is fun and if you never went on one yet, well there's always next year :)

Fact Friday!

On some Fridays, I'll do something called "fact Friday." These facts may not be related to a certain topic, but they are awesome! Surprising facts of life...the awesome way. Here we go with this Friday's fact:
Did you know that the colour of a mirror is slightly green?!
You may be thinking a mirror is white because it only shows off your reflection. When light shines through an object, they can emit a certain colour, like a tomato only showing red because when light shines through a tomato, it only emits red. So how about a green mirror? There is something called "tunnel of mirrors" where two mirrors face each other, showing a never ending tunnel of mirrors. Maybe you noticed before, but if keep looking, it seems to be green, the deeper it goes. Try it, face two mirrors face to face. Do you see a greenish colour? If you want to learn more, click the link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yrZpTHBEss to see how its done.

Quote of the day!....and the first day of October.

Hey everyone, it's the first day of October...September really went by fast! Just three more months until the new year, including this one. Today I saw an October sunrise. If i can I'll try to take a picture of it and post it here in the blog..maybe tomorrow or the day after that. But while that's happening, it's time for another "quote of the day."

Someone who Plays Music very well.

Ever have that someone who plays an instrument? Guitar, piano, cello, or maybe the drums? Anyone that you admire who plays an imstrument must be very interested about music. I for one am really inspired when someone plays music to me. To me, I think that is the main part of music life. You get inspired to that certain person who expresses their feelings through song.

Using a shoe to free a stuck ball.

You probably experienced this more in elementary school. The awesome way to enjoy life, is to live live the awesome way. Now when you're playing basketball, or handball, or any kind of ball you're playing with, chances are, that ball might get stuck. Well that's life, you win some, and you lose some. So the awesome way for this, is to use your shoe! That's right. Now if its on the roof, then that's a whole different story, but if it's stuck in somewhere where it's easy to get it out, then your shoe might be effective. Just aim your shoe at the stuck ball, then throw your shoe. You keep hitting the ball until...the ball bounces back on the ground! You're a hero! And people will think you're awesome! Just don't get the ball into really tight places or else you might lose your shoe as well!
Hey! Who likes Hedley here? If you don't know who they are, Hedley is a Canadian music band that recoded this music that caught my attention. Hedley's single "One Life" is a song about living life the way you would enjoy...because you only got "one life" to live! If you want to listen to the their song, click on the :http://blog.muchmusic.com/watch-a-teaser-video-for-hedleys-one-life/

First post of my new blog!

Hey people of the world! How ya doing? Comment allez-vu? Kumusta? Como esta? Hur mar du. Okay so that was "how are you?" in five languages. Did you know that language is used as a part of our daily lives? Amazing! I created this blog to show you that there are many ways to enjoy life besides knowing another language. I'm talking about big crazy things you do or the small things you do in life. Whatever you do, life sure is precious. You share it with your friends, family, and even complete strangers. Simple ways to enjoy life such as waking up early in the morning and seeing that perfect sunrise saying "hello." Or maybe music...AHH YES! Life can be expressed in so many ways and i'll be willing toi show you some in this blog!
