3 Things about Deja Vu...Fact Friday!

Has anybody got that feeling were you saw something before, but you can't recall the last time you saw it? That is a common symptom that you've experience deja vu. In French, deja vu translates "already seen." So if we already seen what we saw before, how come we can't recall it? Here are three things you want to know about deja vu:

  1. You experience deja vu often between the ages of 8 and 26. As time passes, you experience deja vu quite less.
  2. Deja vu mostly happens when you dream. Your brain does a lot of stuff when it goes to sleep like dreaming. When you wake up however, its a different story. Suppose let's say, you dreamt of Event 1, Event 2, and Event 3. When you wake up (conscious) your brain is now experiencing Event 1, Event 2, and......wait a minute. Did we just saw this before? That's how deja vu works. Your brain thinks that you recall this before somewhere, but it doesn't remember where. Weird isn't it?
  3. Most deja vu experiences happen during dreams. Perhaps that we often recall moments in dreams...Maybe our brains are trying to tell us something that might happen in the near future?
So next time you see something before but you don't know where you saw it before, that's deja vu you're experiencing.

Oh by the way, I want you to also visit my friend's blog, he talks about new technology, video games, and more. Click the link to go on his blog, it's really quite interesting: http://stormjedi.blogspot.ca/
